Performed copyediting and issue assembly for society’s flagship publication, the Journal of Clinical Oncology (JCO), and its sister publication, the Journal of Oncology Practice (JOP). Interfaced daily with authors, vendors, and international partners.
Selected Accomplishments:
- Independently oversaw issue assembly from editing to final approval for one complete issue of the JCO Special Series (100+ print pages) each month.
- Performed all issue assembly, copyediting, and proofreading for the JOP.
- Condensed more than 150 pages of procedure/style rules to 70 pages of essentials.
- Proofread medical journals in Hungarian and Polish and developed style sheets and standing operating procedures for each for use by in-house/freelance proofreaders and overseas staff.
